Green Thumb

We have recently discovered that David has a great ability to garden. It all started when Grammy (my mom) needed some help planting some flowers in front of the house. After all the flowers were planted Grammy showed David how to pick off all the dead, dried petunias so that new ones would grow. Well, I didn't think to much of this until we were over at Grandma T's house a couple of weeks later. David was outside walking around the house with his Aunt Molly when all of the sudden David bent down and started picking off Grandma T's petunias!! Molly was a little nervous at first but soon realized that David would softly touch each flower and would only pick the dried up ones!
These gardening skills were soon put to the true test when Grammy's raspberries started to get ripe. Pops (my dad) took David in the backyard and showed him how to only pick the ripe red berries. Now every time they go out into the backyard David literally runs over to the bushes and will not only pick but eat every ripe raspberry that he can find!
