Just a couple days after Christmas is David's birthday. 
My parents, Sarah and her family, and Jared and Summer and their kids all cam over to help us celebrate. While down in St. George with the Hawkins the girls taught David how to play Turbo Dash. He had so much fun down there that we bought it for him for his birthday. David has a hard time holding up the right 3 fingers to show how old he is, so he came up with this creative way to show everyone how old he is. If you ask him 'How old are you?' he will always say '3 mine old.' I am not sure what he is trying to say but anytime we try and correct him he just keeps on saying '3 mine old.' Daivd got a birthday card/money from both mine and Eric's grandparents. On his birthday I took him to the toy store and was going to let him pick of two toys using his money. He had several different games, toys, books picked out and we were working on narrowing it down to two when he saw this-
When we got in the car after buying it David looked at me and said, 'I am SO excited, this be a GREAT birthday!" He calls it his copter-plane (helicopter). It is really called a Plasma Car. I have also heard them called Wiggle Bikes. It is a car/bike that works just by wiggling the steering wheel. One of the cool things about it is that it can hold up to 300 lbs. So David lets us all take turns driving it around. (don't worry T, we drive it mostly on the carpet downstairs so we don't ruin your wood floors! ;) We can't wait for the snow to melt to so can take it outside and REALLY drive it around. Thanks Grandma Nicholls and Gram and Grandad!! Happy Birthday David, we can't believe that you are 3 mine old already!!

Yes indeed....that does sounds like an awesome car. How fun!!! A big three years old!!!! You are growing up soooo fast.
I love the picture that shows David's creative way to show three with his hands. It looks like the cool way to do it. I'm glad he likes his fun car. Hope your new year is going well!
