David has a great imagination. My parent's got a new kitten for Christmas. As soon as we walk in their front door David is yelling for the "Tat". Well, sometimes the cat gets a little tiered of David chasing it around the house and throwing its toys at her. So...it hides. Apparently it isn't just the cat that David like to play with. Once the cat runs away he hands someone else the cats toy. (it is a bell and feather on a string) He then makes us dangle the string in front of him while he meows and pounces on it.The other day I was cleaning out and organizing some of the clothes in David and Abbey's closets. I found a big box of some old Halloween costumes that Eric's Aunt gave us before she moved (Thanks again Michelle!) Needless to say David ran around the house being a dog.
David loves Curious George. When he turned one we took him to Build-A-Bear to buy an animal. Well he picked out the monkey and hasn't let go of it since. He loves anything that has to do with Curious George. The movie, tv show, his PJ's, coat, everything! One day I went into his room to find this...
You can't tell from the picture but there was stuff everywhere!!! If you look close you can also see George right in the middle of it all. When I asked David if he had made the mess this was our conversation:
Me: David did you make this mess:
David: Nope, Turious Gerge
Me: Did Curious George make this mess?
David: YESSHHH!!!!
Me: Did David make the mess:
David: No (while shaking his head with a 'your silly' mom look on his face)
This morning after watching Word World on PBS , he unloaded my blue laundry basket and threw all his magnetic letters and number inside of it. After watching him do all this he then climbed inside of it himself. He then started to pretend he was swimming around in the ocean looking for letters. When he found one he would hold it up and shout 'Here 'tis L' (or K or S or whatever letter he happens to pick up). Next he would line up all the letters he had found, push them together and then start singing 'Let's build a word, let's build, let's build it now!' *if you have seen Word World you may be able to tell what episode David watched this morning. The one where Duck swims in the ocean looking for letter with Shark.

lol - love the stories. He is so funny, him and Andie would have sooooooo much fun together because they still do the exact same things. Instead of Curious George, we have "Grumpy and Snow White." Grumpy does everything and Andie says, "Gumpy so funy!"
